Bradley Academy
Museum Exhibit Project
As part of her Essentials of Museum Management course, Kayla collaborated with other MTSU Public History graduate students and the city of Murfreesboro's Parks and Recreation department to produce a public exhibit at the Bradley Academy Museum and Cultural Center.

This museum focuses on the history of Murfreesboro's African American community. As the project's assigned oral historian, Kayla was responsible for producing an oral history aspect for the final exhibit. She edited and compiled several oral history interviews done with members of Murfreesboro's Black community in honor of the 1976 Bicentennial Celebration into an audiovisual exhibit that can be looped on a digital museum kiosk.
